Geiger Safe & Secure Engineering

was founded  in january 2024 by Klemens Geiger and Vincent Geiger to support an  holistic view and approach for all of the three facet of a product life cycle  function, safety and Cyber Security.

 

Klemens Geiger

as founder and Managing Director Geiger Safe & Secure Engineering has a degree in communication engineering,

looking back to a long lasting career as SW-engineer, System & SW-Architect and Teamlead for embedded and realtime Systems and prodcuts.
This  allows him to collect  comprehensive experience in all phases of a product life cycle  as analysis,specification,architectur, implementation, testing and integration of embedded Systems and products in the field of industrial engery control , professional digital audioequipment(recording, mixing,distribution) , Avionic and Rail.

Especiually the long lasting experience for avionic and rail  gave a lot of knowledge for development of Systems according international standards like Do 178B/C and EN50657  to support evidence, audits  and documentation for homologation by national and international bodies per example Eisenbahnbundesamt, ERA and EASA.

In the past decade Cyber Security was main focus of my work and career as founder of Center of Excellence at Bombardier in 2014  owner and creator of the Cyber Security engineering process for  rolling stock and signaling. Next to the daily work and project execution to reach complaince to the railway specific security standards,  I got the opportunity to partitcipate newly founded national and international standardisation commitees for Cyber Security for rail. In this role he was initatior and author of the DIN EN 50701 and the derived IEC 63452.  It was a pleasure for him to support DKE with the german translation of the DIN EN TS 50701.

Vincent Geiger

as Co-founder of Geiger Safe & Secure Engineering with a bachelor in business administration and more than 7 years of experience in consulting,business development and management, support the company with his administrative knowledge for finance
